The switch I had slipped perfectly into the notch just below the steering wheel.

Also put the Cel-fi Go in under passenger seat, although it’s got some issues which I’m a bit stumped on.

What challenge are you having with the CellFi?

Booked in to fix it up, though they are backed up for weeks - won’t get my baby back until late Feb!

Gave her a good clean anyway - she earned it!
Haha. Had the same from Coral Bay. Was ok on the flat but the hills around Geraldton were awful. The reason is it blocks the second turbo kicking in when it has a restricted performance for a leak (P006A) type.

Thought as much. Felt like an old non-turbo 100 series climbing out of an open cut mine ramp (1:10). Accelerator only serves to adjust volume, not speed.

    Hi Tombie,
I posted a separate thread about it in the communication/stereo forum

    Telstra Cel-fi Go issue

Do you have any experience with them? It worked fine when I first bought it but then seemed to stop working. I had it fitted in behind glove box on my Prado so couldn't see the lights etc and have only started working out the issue since trying to install in D4

I’d had the failing slowly actuator replaced about 6/7 years ago and not sure if part was upgraded but the angle pin looked in perfect shape as I’ve been expecting it to break any day at worst possible time for last few years. I had no plastic weather sheet in there I assume they removed at the time.
I was too slow off the mark and mine died yesterday. Was going to replace the actuator etc next service in May as a precaution.

Boot full of shopping. Couldn't open tailgate and couldn't lock the car with the key fob. I think it thinks it's half closed as the alarm beeps twice if I try to lock it. GAP tool gave the following error message:

    VIN SALLAAAxxxxxxxxxx
    Model L319 - Discovery 4 2013
    Vehicle scanned on 27 Jan 2021 18:07:01
    IIDControl 2.9.9.9 Build 74 Android - IIDTool BT V3.0 B2643

    BCM-Body Control

B12EE-15 (2E) Liftgate/tailgate/trunk release - General electrical failure - circuit short to battery or open
    ( on 27-01-2021 17:33:00 at 40564 km )

Fortunately I have a half height cargo barrier so could extricate the shopping. Used the emergency key in the side door to lock the doors. What a pain to get that cover off if you don't know how. Looked in the manual and it was a bit vague but Google came to the rescue.

I can't fix it myself due to back problems so my indie is going to have at it next Wednesday.

That'll teach me to wait too long.

Oh dear - Try pushing the dash lock and unlock buttons together was a solution sometimes in the D3s not sure if D4s have the buttons.

As for mine, try opening by the upper rear door handle at the same time as you hit the fob rear door open button. Working for me until indie Dazza can get to it!

    Thanks guys.

I'll give them both a try tomorrow. Bit late now for the alarm to be beeping. I have lock and unlock buttons on the drivers door but I'll try it out.
