Filled the old D3 up yesterday from almost empty, $190!!!

I need to find that special program called "Volvo Driver" and push the button!!

Had my battery tested yesterday as its getting hard to start on cold mornings plus gives the usual error messages when voltage goes low. it is a SSB 88Ti 1180 cca. Tested at 530cca. Being replaced under warranty.

D3 gets rear upper and lower arms plus all 4 knuckle bushes replaced next month.
Front has just been done and all 4 air struts before Christmas. It will drive like a new one again.

Congratulations and I hope everyone is happy and healthy. 8 fingers, 2 thumbs, 2 eyes, 2 ears, a nose and 10 toes.

Both my boys came home in a Volvo (we didn't buy the D3 until after they were born) with a reverse facing capsule. I on the other hand, was taken home in an unsecured bassinet on the rear shelf of a Triumph TR4a. How times have changed!

Dad recently spent 10 years having it restored to showroom condition. I know what it's worth

I also love driving it, although it's stock now. Back when I learned to drive in it, it was a very finely tuned ex-race car that went like a stung cat. It does have a vicious oversteer that's hard to catch when it lets go but I can deal with that.

New alternator as existing had a very noisy pulley bearing. It had lasted 5.5 years and 105,000km

Absolutely they have changed. Why are SUVs so popular? Because car seats are now so big and bulky they don’t fit in a ‘normal’ car!

But yes, all heathy and happy here :-)
