D3 done it's fragile transport duty today and 100km round trip which was faultless.
Not sure which surprised people more the Ute or the fact it was getting towed by a land rover.

Thanks. I started planning this trip when we went into semi-lockdown in March 2020. It's a leisurely one with only tomorrow afternoon and one other day being anything other than a meander but will certainly endeavour to do it safely.Originally Posted by John_D4

That would be nice... Every time I order from AF, they have it on the plane leaving Heathrow within the day. It then takes about a week to cover the 50 km from Brisbane airport to me! Still pretty good though.

Changed the oil, filter and fuel filter Thursday night.
Threw the hybrid van on the back and filled up the fuel tanks - WOW!
Off to the Riverland Friday for a weekend of ballistic relaxation.
Relaxing stop at Overland Corner hotel for a quick pint and on to Loxton for the competition.
2 days of competition and a run to Tanunda to see the Grand Kid before a run home via Melrose (lunch and coffee).
Average speed 96km/h for the trip with a real world fuel burn of 14.6l/100km. Cruising speed was 112km/h where posted at 110.
