    Picked up the new and freshly painted tailgate handle.

    The additional cable I’ve been waiting on to complete the radio install is due today according to Auspost. This cable is just some “forward planning” and is an additional camera input for if/when I want a camera on the rear of our van. Will be running it whilst I run all the other cabling.

    So all going to plan this weekend, I’ll be starting the install of the new audio system, camera, USB ports and Linx

    The Beast got some new boots... Moreton Island for a long w/e in 9 days, so looking forward to trying them out. First impression on tarmac is absolutely no noise issues, which is good.

    Yup - ATR Plus. I hope I won't - they look like the right balance for me - I'm not crazy off road, and realistically 95% plus of my driving is on tarmac or graded gravel, but these are on the second set of wheels for just this sort of fun.

    I have them in 255/60/18 that came with a spare set of wheels, I find them good wet and dry.

    I toasted a sidewall on these on a rock and switched, but that said, it would probably have happened to any tyre.

    What happened to your D3/D4 today?

    Have spent the last few days enjoying how the disco absorbs the ruts at Karijini. Sitting at the right speed you just glide over them, leaving all those doing 20kph in the wake.
    A couple of times the rear has departed the front’s trajectory but nothing a little opposite lock and throttle can’t fix What happened to your D3/D4 today?
