Recall,a software update over numerous different types of vehicles isnt even worth wasting breath on....

If it was something major, then fair enough.....

Our D4 had enough EAS and suspension issues over 9 1/2 years, and it was low K's(less than 100 000),to pay for two sets of coils and shocks on a Cruiser, and that wouldnt have been el cheapo sets.....

    Possibly we were unlucky?

I’d say very much so. (Unlucky that is)

Not sure why that comment is needed…

I had started my post on the app but it froze, so I did it from my desktop.

I came back into the app later and it ‘unfroze’ then posted, thus creating a duplicate, which I then deleted

Ours has not been as fortunate.

Crank, compressor, handbrake module, turbo, DPF, LCAs and RHS EGR before 135,000 and LHS EGR, DPF (again) & HPFP before 180,000. It's just cracked 202,000, so I'm waiting for the next failure.

Sorry, should clarify, I was talking about the air suspension only.

Ours has had a number of things replaced, but mostly only what could be considered normal maintenance items.

Except the engine, but that was a failed oil pump housing.

    nothing exciting,
oil and filter change the day before with Penrite HPR5 5W-40 full synthetic.
front brake pads done and had hoped to reuse the wear sensor but it was cactus, had to get another one sent up via express post, $51 all up. Fitted and all is good again.
    Simples.

We’ve just clocked over 4500kms towing our van and in that time we have passed 0 LR towing vans , and passed 3 LR in total..

compare that to the 20+ , 300 series we have either been parked next to or passed and the many many hundred 200 series we have passed and I would say they have well and truly gotten over the latest recall.

People are bias I know , but haven’t spoken to 1 300 series owner yet that is unhappy with how it tows or performs, and many were towing vans as big or bigger than our 23 ft van.

    Just sayin

I'm sure the sheeple are happy with their white generic bricks , seems that they only come in white - not seen any other colour yet.

New tyres. Maxxis 980. The GG ATs lasted about 65k. Not a bad run.
