That looks a good possibility - being lazy, do you know if it's high speed/quick charge? should be, I'd think... I may have a search...

I use these in the front factory 12 volt outlets
Choetech 2-Port USB Type C 40W Dual Car Charger

Genuine PD output. Couple with good quality USB C to lightning cables for iphone or USB C to USB C for iPad Pro.
You can't use cheap non PD rated cables.

That one of JWB's will do the job, but still has the clunky 'adaptor' look. I think, in the short term, I'm going to try one of these: frustratingly, their own e-commerce site does't list Aus a shipping address, but they are on a couple of Amazon sites that do. It's design is all but flush to the surface, which I much prefer. They have a couple of different options, colours etc.

    Pop and the orange triangle

Pulling out from the carpark heading home the other day, felt a relative strong "pop" from underneath the car and within 5 seconds had the orange triangle indication and the error message "normal height only available". Now, I always park with the car at access height and always lower as I roll into the bay, and always press the button to raise up as I drive away. Original Hitachi compressor that has been serviced, plus all valve blocks have had a kit through them as well. I suspect I've popped an air line somewhere, but height is holding, so It must be before the valve blocks. Will be pulling the compressor out today for a look see. Oh the joys...

Update, just pulled the compressor and found this. At least I know the compressor is strong...20220521_100942.jpg

USB power delivery is such a moving feast. I have ordered one of these:

HEYMIX USB C Car Charger, 115W Type C Car Charger, PD PPS Fast Car Chargering Adapter 65W 45W 30W 20W Car Phone Charger Adapter Compatible with Samsung S21 S20 Note 20 Ultra, Pad, Dell, with 60W USB C Cable : Amazon.com.au: Electronics

I like that it is not flush - ugly but maybe better heat dissipation. More importantly it supports PPS which is variable negotiated voltage charging for the new devices. Will see how it goes!

That’s awesome. I could charge my MacBook from that!

Certainly looks powerful - any views on whether that'll run a bit hot on the standard wiring to the cigarette socket? (Basically, I'd be more worried about the wire than the 'head unit'...)

Another 800km in the last 36 hours.
500 to go tomorrow to head home.

Then straight into workshop for full service (all fluids and filters) and start pulling interior apart for stereo upgrade.

Also have to go pick up the freshly painted tailgate handle and fit the 3rd brake light and the panel.

    Fun week ahead.
