How’s this working for you? I have an issue with mine right now, circuit breaker is tripped off so I’m trying to decide whether to just replace or upgrade etc.

I’ve had to head off for work on a plane (weird I know!) but back by Friday and will test it on the weekend and report back.

Oh, FYI I bought an 80amp fuse based on the feedback from Drivesafe that it could handle a little more current. I expect I sit on around 60 amps on average with about 5 amps of fridge and ~45amp with the compressor plus a couple of amps of minor things plus I guess some battery charging drag.

Picked up a shiny new pirelli spare tyre after having it freighted up from Geraldton to be met with “yeah, that wheels bent too. Keep it as the spare and drive home carefully”. Do dumb stuff, break ****.

I suggest that the tyre on the bent rim be removed and inspected as its likely to have been pinched with the rim damaged.

I'm currently running 255/60R19 GG AT3 on my L322 instead of the standard 255/55R19 or my previous 275/55R20. They have the same sidewall height as 255/60R18 and the GG's LI 113 is high enough for out-back travel without having to be too concerned about the sidewalls.

I put a bit more detail into the retrofitting heated seats thread, but in short, it’s fairly doable.
Getting the parts is the hardest bit really, particularly the cable that runs between the car and the seat heat module. Most used examples only sell the module, without any way to plug it in

I reckon you're right. The sidewalls are pretty badly scuffed. Not only that, but when I bought the new tyres I said "put the best on the spare and replace the other 4". Now the tyres are out of stock Aus wide so I won't be able to replace the one I broke and I'll be up for "new all round". So to save $309, it's going to cost me $1500 for all new. Next time I'll buy 6.

Still, while I was at the tyre place in Denham, they got a call. "I'm about 100k's out and have blown a tyre, can you come and help me? Put the spare on mate. I don't have a spare.". At that point I handed over my money plus 6 pack in appreciation of their effort to get me a spare in a hurry and left them to the recovery.
