I need it for a 2010 Disco SE the one without a round clock.

Cambo at Old Jaguar has a solution that gets a double unit working and keeps the clock.

It’s the best solution at the moment for us with the base spec 10-11 models.

Met him last week and will be ordering a loom from him asap to fit mine out.

So the new connects2 kit isn't coming anytime huh? My confidence in Connects2 has wavered over the past year.

I'd rather pay Cambo for his install instructions etc and buy any portion of a kit through him - he knows his stuff and has already been genuinely helpful to me over PMs.

I like that....currently my pov small screen is the mounting surface for my Tom Tom gps, luckily i know my radio presets off by heart and otherwise stream music via Bluetooth (separate aux input and transceiver) but that photo makes it look very nice.

I realise this is an old thread, but for me it's relevant now. I recently scored a 2010 2011 2.7 D4. I joined AURLO to get some help fixing the heater. With help from members I now have a new matrix installed (and only 1 screw left over).

While I had the dash out I figured I'd upgrade the head unit so I could use CarPlay. But I have since learned it's not so easy with this model. I'm happy to lose the CD player but I hope to retain the steering wheel controls and all the beeps, chimes and so on. It would be nice to be able to change the time in the cluster too without waiting for midnight to disconnect the battery. Adding a reverse camera is well down the nice-to-have list, but it still makes the list all the same.

Does any one know if there has been any improvements or updates with the adapters out there for the 2010 2011 D4? I see the Connects 2 CTULR05 is listed as:

"(IV) For vehicles with basic display only"

Does this apply to my car? Should I trust this claim?
I have the same FoMoCo unit with the 2 buttons on the RHS and the key pad below as pictured earlier in this thread.
