Subscriber19" rims no problem in sand.
Go to 14psi, Sand Mode, DSC off and you can drive beaches all day every day without an issue.
LR rims have very tight bead locks which means little chance of peeling a tyre, too.
But ... going to 18's gives you a heap more tyre options, especially if you're touring.
Go Tuffant, MOAB or Compomotive. Others may fit, but make sure the load rating is correct.
If at first you don't succeed, that's one data point. - xkcd

SupporterJust acquired Nitto Terra Grappler G2 on 18" Moabs. This photo was to check out. Still running the 19" for daily work. Will put Moab's on after the Covid thing is past and I can travel again.

Does anyone know if the below has been addressed:
*The alloy aftermarket wheels had an issue with cracking across the wheel.
*The steel aftermarket wheels had some balance issues? (I dont know the details).
*I only ask the above so potential purchasers are aware of any lingering issues.
*Would be good if this was answered by the manufacturers/suppliers.
Regards
Daz
