It's a bit hard to see, but it's a single piece of ali plate, you can see how the lights sit on the protrusions through the grill, and behind the grill, in front of the radiator, the plate connects the two protrusions. Does that make sense? If you call Tim at Auto Spark in Osborne Park he'll walk you through it. It's a very solid piece of work.

Thanks heaps! Don’t suppose you could tell me the clearance measurement between bolt centre and grille? Just wondering if my existing 9” led lights will be able to fit once I get my disco D4 Driving light mounts
    Cheers

It's about 45mm from the bolt centre to the bottom of the grill. But the grill slopes slightly backwards from the bottom up, my lights are 120mm deep front to back of the bracket, so they just clear the grill by 5mm or so. As per pic below.

Very little. They're solid. They've been on the car almost since new, up and down the Gibb, Mitchell Falls track, Munja Track etc etc and haven't moved at all. Yes, they'll vibrate a bit on the corrugations, but any attachments will do that. Nothing puts them out of alignment though, I presume because of the thick ali bracket they sit on.
