For those with the 2.7l,a tune will also reduce lag substantially, as well as give noticeable torque and power increase.

I was using the Hikeit controller and their people have been excellent in offering assistance.

Idrive has been a great add-on.

Reach in, unplug, fit in between and reconnect. Done!

Anyone got instructions how to do this for the iDrive on a D4? It seems very closed up - Do I need to remove?

Can Confirm, fitted mine ( EVC553 ) Saturday morning - dropped the covers connected the loom and placed the the controller.
Road trip down to Venus Bay and this has transformed the Car!

Do you have a remap or stock ?

Put my iDrive in my SDV6 3.0 2013 D4 today - What an unreal change in acceleration. Was not expecting that. Car pulls like a train now with even the mildest touch.

Found U-2 setting to much so moved down to U-1 and find it's a nice spot for normal driving but gonna test more.

Auto seemed way too eager and Eco seemed very mushy.

Overall for the $200 I paid - can't recommend it enough and thanks for the guidance here guys.

Yes, the previous owner had a Bruce Davis ECU upgrade completed
