Timing belt change after 7yrs and 37,000kms

OK I’ve done a search and there’s a lot of threads, but I’m still not really sure what to do.

My new-to-me 2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 had its timing belt changed at 150,000km in 2014, so at 7yrs old, and 7yrs ago. Since then it’s done a whopping 37,000kms. I reckon I’ll change it, but maybe next year after I’ve sorted some other things out on it first like new struts, compressor overhaul etc. It had the oil pump updated at the last change so that should make things slightly easier for a new belt change.

How worried do you think I should be about getting it changed?

I wouldn't be concerned, did mine at 13 years and 193k and belt was like new, oil pump was a different matter.

Inspected mine at 10yrs with 160k on the clock and if it wasn’t for the fact I had the oil pump housing that was prone to fail I would have left it as like loanrangie mine was like new.

Ended up doing the housing and belt change but certainly didn’t seem that time was going to be an issue to the belt condition in my case.
