i spent 4 days trying to fit 255 60 r18s heavily modifying the calipers to know avail, the rims are out of round, thought abt trueing them in my lathe but flagged that, no idea what to put on my 19s, have coopers 255 55 18 on the tdv6 with smaller calipers, sigh, what 60s can i use, grabbers have poor reviews here
my SDV6 2015 had black 20 town rims running pirellis, no good to me
    they are in storage now

255/55R19 GG AT3 are only LI 111 whereas the 255/60R19 are 113. Having read about the sidewall damage to the 255/55R19 I was a little apprehensive about trying the 60 profile version but not once I felt the sidewall thickness prior to them being fitted to the rims. Even at 30 psi front and 33 psi rear the sidewalls barely bulge under the nearly 3T empty vehicle.

Can you borrow a good 18" rim to see how close your shaving is? My old 3.0 D4 runs 18" D4 rims these days, albeit with probably with less clearance than the 19" D4 rims on my L322 which is around 3 mm.

Reported sidewall damage from rocks on the 255/55 profile in both the UK and on outback gravel roads had me wondering whether the sidewalls on the 255/60 profile were any better. I have no experience with the 55 profile but the 60 profile's sidewalls don't squash and pinch on the edges of ruts on my driveway, unlike the Pirelli ATR 255/55R19 that I had on my D4 even though they were at higher pressures.

The 60 profile is the D5 19" size and while there are lots of brands in this size in the USA, unfortunately their load rating is only 108/109, presumably for lighter vehicles.

Waste of time, because of the larger rotors the calipers are spaced out further hence why they moved to 19"rims.

He probably has wheel spacers as well which are illegal here.

It's achievable by reducing the fins and having rims that aren't out of round.
