    Well, it has been a week and aside from the obvious error :

    P140A-00 (2F) Exhaust gas recirculation sensor C - circuit low
    - Test Failed
    - Test Failed This Monitoring Cycle
    - Confirmed
    - Test Failed Since Last Clear

    No further consequences. So it would appear using a BAS patch on an EU4 2.7L TDV6 doesn't care if the EGR is present, let alone functioning.
    No MIL, just the persistent error in the logs.

    Good to know Brad. Means if you have a set of working EGR’s you could potentially patch first, disconnect knowing they are closed, and worry about blanking later if you wanted.

    You'll need to remove the throttle blade however.
