The d4 oil pressure light only comes on when the engine loses pressure for 4 seconds when the engine is running. If you have a scan tool you cav check that it's off
Hi All,
I've just done an oil change on our 2012 2.7l TDV6 D4, I now don't have an oil pressure light.
Is the sender anywhere near the oil filter? Could I have accidentally unplugged it doing the filter?
To be honest, I can't remember ever seeing it, but I don't drive it much, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it
Back under the bonnet tomorrow.

It doesn't leak oil, Its sweating power
That's right. No light
It doesn't leak oil, Its sweating power
The owner manual states,
"Illuminates as a bulb check when the ignition is switched on and extinguishes when the engine is started.

The light will light if it’s unplugged I’m sure. The light also shows when you press ignition- contour your foot on the pedal and just press the button to enable the ignition. Make sure you see the oil pressure light lit. Then repeat with the brake pressed and make sure it extinguishes once running.
