What are caravanners on the forum using?

    I use these.

Thank you all for your help, I think I will reuse my old strap on mirrors and add an extra couple of long zip ties around the hinge part of the LR mirror and then another zip tie up to the strapon mirror and give that a go for a while,

    Check out these mirrors
    Brunsgaard Universal Towing Mirrors

They are made in Denmark, are extremely light and once set up take 15 seconds per mirror to put on. They do not move at all on the car, do not vibrate, have 4 points of contact and the size 4 fits the Discovery (4 point mirrors)
I have had 5 caravans, tried many different mirrors and have found these are by far the best and easiest to fit.

Drop them an email, they are great to deal with, ship them out really quickly and you can buy parts for them if required (I changed tug and brought just the 2 different size arms I required)

These look quite good. What did they cost?

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

    Hi Folks,

I wonder if anyone here has successfully purchased Milenco mirrors with the Falcon brackets from an aussie supplier. Dometic sell the mirrors but on their web site they offer no other info. Looking to fit to a 2014 RRS TDV6.

    Cheers, Simmo

Go to a truck parts and accessories shop and get a set of small West Coast mirrors.

    Hi
The mirrors cost me $180, money well spent in my experience with them.
    Cheers,

Hi Simmo, just wondering if you have had any luck yet with getting the Falcon brackets, or any other resolution to the MY14 and MY15 D4 mirror issue?

We have just purchased the MY15 Discovery and feel like we are going around in circles trying to get our rig ready for towing. Even Land Rover can't help ? the mirrors they have listed in their 'Accessories' have been withdrawn!!!

Research on the Milenco (UK) site, and subsequent email enquiry has resulted in being advised Part # 4220 Milenco Falcon Mirror Clamps will fit the 2014 D4 onwards, if used to replace the original clamps.

Vehicle's great, caravan's great ... but getting tired of sitting in our driveway

I bought a set of Milenco Aero's with the Falcon clamps.
Only done 90 km's with them so far. Will let you know how they go when we get back from Streaky and Elliston early January.
    Cheers Mossy
