I don't have the falcon clips and they were fine with the standard ones for thousands of kms attached 100% of the time.
I didn't know about the falcon clips till reading it here....

I've got milenco extra wides for my other vehicle. Work great with standard mounts. Never used them on the disco but they'd be fine I think.

    Hi stray dingo,
Thanks for that, but just wondering what year your D4 is.
The normal Milencos work with anything up to 2014, but there was a mirror change that.
Hope to hear back from you.

    Folks,

Been in discussions with dometic and a local agent. Lots of left hands not connecting with the right in terms of Aussie supply, maybe tomorrow I will have some more info, touch wood.

    Hi Simmo1,

Looks like we have both been terrorising Dometic and local agents today :-)
I have even been emailing back and forth to Denmark, making enquiries about the Brunsgaard Towing Mirrors. They have put me on to an Australian agent and he is in the process of sending me further information and photos of a set of mirrors he has recently fitted to a current model Disco 4.
Will keep the forum posted on progress.
Would be interested in hearing from other members, regarding quality, if they have had Brunsgaard on earlier models of Discovery.

Well after a fair bit of farting about I have ordered these falcon mirrors

Milenco Falcon Mirror Twin Pack. M3988, Milenco towing mirrors

from these guys in melbourne, at $135 inc delivery to SW Vic.
    Coast to Coast RV Services
52 Metrolink Circuit West, Campbellfield VIC 3061
    Phone: 03 9930 0500
    Fax: 03 9930 0599
    Email: salesvic@coastrv.com.au

It looks like the falcon mirrors might be made by milenco but arent sold under that brand. The falcon mirrors arent sold thru dometic but apparently they can source the clamps???

If the gods are smiling it might be a wise or at least useful purchase otherwise something to talk about when there isn't anything else of interest. I will check back in when I get them, next week, and after I manage to try them out.

    Cheers, Simmo

Well we finally decided on the Brunsgaard towing mirrors.

These were available from Brunsgaard's Australia rep, Kel, in Perth. brunsgaard.com.au Kel was very helpful.
We ordered last Thursday and they arrived Monday morning! Total cost, including Aust. Post was $230.

Followed the instructions and soon had them pieced together and adjusted to suit. In future all we have to do is place them on the original mirror and tighten one screw pad ? 30 seconds and we were ready to go.

MOH is very impressed with the quality and performance ? no vibrations and a great viewing area.
They look good too, no straps etc.

If you are looking at buying these for a 2014 Disco you will need the Size 4 'special' bracket. This size is not listed on the website so you must state when ordering, and it is an additional $10.

If anyone would like to see them fitted I could try and post a photo.

    Happy travels ...

    I wouldn't mind seeing a pic. I've found the Milenco's do vibrate a bit.

    Tezel,
Yep some pics would be great. Maybe one from directly above to show how it fits along the rear shape of the mirror.
    Cheers, Simmo
