No need to take pics, I just wanted to know whether the screen looked like the factory setup.

I noticed from your profile that you are in the Hornsby area in Sydney. I am based in the North West of Sydney. Do you get your Disco serviced at a main dealer or do you take it to a Landrover specialist. There is a Landrover specialist in Castle Hill www.bemw.com.au I was wondering whether you know of these guys.

    Thanks,
    Ash

    Ash,

To date only had 1 real service, from a LR dealer, and I haven't heard of BEMW before, so I can't comment much.

    Cheers,

The name doesn't sound like that of a LR specialist though.

Hi Ash - Our Disco3 2009 arrives at the end of Aug 2009 and we have ordered it with the Rear Seat Entertainment system. It was recommended to us that we actually get our own Nav system and have it hardwired (actually the dealer offered that as a suggestion). Just wondering if your baby has arrived and what has been your experience?

Yup Mark and the boys at BEMW are really good - been using them for years and now a few guys around here have their service / mods carried out there.

Mark is really into the Rally scene with his 3 Series BMW but his workshop is about 50:50 between LR and BMW work.

    Hi Disco Dude.

My Disco arrived late last week. We drove to St Albans on the weekend and it performed very well. This is the first 4wd I have ever owned and I was a bit worried about whether it was the right car for me. I have owned 2 BMW's previously and was looking for a bigger car that would fit the wife and 3 young boys. So far, I am very happy with it.

    Cheers,
    Ash

so can anyone recommend a car audio place/ or installer for an upgrade maybe??

am looking at an alpine/pioneer / kenwood system with DVD/SATNAV etc.. also any ideas for the back seat? headrests are too narrow, and sloping roof with vent controls rules out a roof mount unit??/
