I had a similar experience with ARB but spoke to Triumph Rover Spares in Adelaide and they got an ARB for me and did slight mods to fit. Cost $2000 to supply and fit and looks good!

Hi guys, to date, we have had no correspondence from our ARB network to categorically confirm whether or not our bars will fit the petrol D3s, with or without modification.

In light of the discussion on this forum, we've recently sent a memo to our entire network requesting information from stores/stockists who have first hand experience in fitting an ARB bar to a petrol D3, and, what modifications (if any) were required.

If and when this information comes through, we'll be sure to adjust our fitting recommendations.

I'd suggest you contact your dealers in the USA - as mentioned earlier in this thread, ALL D3's and D4's over there are petrol.
