    Hi Guys,
as promised some more photos of the vehicle.. (bull bar)

I've just given up today on a Baja Rack. The guys importing them are complete idiots and are just useless to deal with. So we've ordered a Rhino Rack Pioneer Tray..

Here's some more pics of the under body etc. There is a small gap on the sides, which we plan on filling with a custom moulded rubber/fill. Nothing huge, and really unless you get right up close you can't see it. Otherwise the profiles are extremely similar..

Some protective sheathing around the wires that go through the holes in the metal shields each side could be worthwhile.

Hi Graeme, i thought the same when i saw it. they aren't actually wires.. They are metal rods that hold the other side of bolts.. They've just been bent up to keep it tidy.

We're thinking about moving he runva winch unit to make it all look a little nicer..

Looks like the guards have not been cut and the front bumper just removed - hence the gap. Looks like it is D3 bar with modified bits as necessary.

    Nice fitup though.

PS - on closer inspection and comparing with the line of my own guard I can see the guard has been cut - as there is no trim over the cut area I assume the area has been repainted - how does the work in this area look close up - looks Ok in the pics

Lower outer covers need to meet centre bash plate or a big stick is going to find a bad spot to go

    Other than that... Nice!

    hi tombie,
yeah i agree. Pics have gone to Gordon at GOE as we are currently looking at doing a front plate for it.. We decided to wait until the bar went on the front prior to making it up...

Nice build...and assuming that's your van your building up on myswag.org...you will find your trip around Oz very comfortable for the family. What have you done/planning to do for in car entertainment for the kids?

    Hi Jim,
Yeah thats the MK7 on myswag... For those on here, one what i've been told is very large van! (but lite!)...

Kids have ipads, iphones and macbook air's. So they are sorted for the trip. They're used to long journeys as we do alot of camping..

Getting closer now to leave date.. We've got a deadline for across the simpson with friends late july.. So everything has to be ready.

Car is in Landrover having it's first round of warranty work and maintenance today/tomorrow, and then goes back for it's final check over mid july just before we leave..
