We managed to get some additional work done today.
    In went the UHF..

Thanks to Luke at Mr Automotive, managed to hunt me a "correct" Raised Air Intake for the Car. We sealed it up a little as well. Looks good..!

Roof Rack went on the roof, and was so happy with the Great Whites LED bar that we mounted another one on the roof.

Still much more to come, but we are getting there..

Did you replace the pipe inside the guard or just pull it out and tape it up to seal it?

Hi chuck currently have 20" rims with the 285/ 20's. however waiting for GOE rims to arrive and will run the 18" cooper ltz. As current.

Hi Garry we left the original internals, so we can get it checked with LR. I've got a good dealer and has taken a good interest in helping with the car. We plan to change it over to a complete system, however I am very aware of the electronics, computers and leather, which I have no interest in drowning.

I cannot speak for the updated RRS but in the earlier version like have the internal pipe is perforated to let water out if it gets into standard intact so this makes the system "leaky". Now I did hear the later versions used a sealed pipe but I am not sure. If you want to use you RAI as a snorkel, in addition to sealing the external intake to the body, you will need to make sure the pipe that joins the RAI to the airbox is also sealed - but as I said on your model it may already be.

    Cheers

Hi Gary, no my version is perforated. We checked.
However we plan on changing it, just making sure landrover are ok with the approach. But plan is to put a closed system in.

Hi George, Yep already ordered and waiting on the way from Gordon (GOE)..
The rear wheel carrier and looks like i am going to get SupaPeg to custom make rear/side awnings for the lift up boot ...

Yeah it will get very dirty. First major 4wd trip is in about 4 weeks across and back the Simpson desert .. I've got a very large custom 9mt caravan we are towing.. I'll post some pics of them together.. But here's one from a couple of weeks ago..
