    But really though, its not like its a new engineering design.. how much difference is there between a D4 and a RRS?- same chassis, safety systems, wheelbase, track ... its just cosmetic.

    Almost, RRS is shorter in the wheel base, body is narrower, shorter in height

    the Disco and RRS share the same Chassis .... even though one wears a tuxedo and the other a dungaree

    I am not going to say anything more on the subject as there is a quite distinct difference of opinion and i do not
    want to be the one that screws it up for everyone else.... enjoy your Sports and make your own decision

    I would have thought that if you had a compliance plate on the bar & a receipt from the manufacturer albeit franchisee/agent you would be ok.

    If the insurer had issues they would I think it take it up with the manufacturer.

    The law is supposed to work on the "reasonable man" process.
    Pretty sure all a reasonable man would need in this instance is a compliance plate & receipt.
