Thanks Camo but I think I'll steer clear of Valvoline Maxlife as it is a dual use oil. Compatable with both GM Dexron VI & Ford Mercom ATF. Not A dedicated Dexron VI oil

Here is some pictures of my MY2003 (which is for sale).
In s Street, Nice sunset on top of hill and bogged in the sand with STT's
Yay! After months of searching, and being stuffed around by all and sundry, I finally have my new baby in the driveway. The search was long and hard, and I have lost count of how many vehicles I have looked at and driven. This one was the best I have managed to find in my price range, and while it has a few more KM than I would have ideally liked, everything checks out on it.
It is a 2003 HSE in Dark Blue (not sure what the actual colour is). 20" wheels - which I wasn't really looking for, but hey what can you do...Tinted windows, upgraded tail lights, side grills & side indicators - to 06 spec. Aftermarket Pioneer navigation, Sunroof, etc, etc - you all know what they come with.
I am the third owner - it was traded in just out of warranty by the original owner (Like most are), and the guy I bought it off has had it since, and only selling because of the new house he and his missus just bought (so I am told), but it does check out - all the reciepts show his last address up until 3 months ago) - we will see...
Mechanically - its the TD6, with 155KKM. Transmisson rebuilt 22KKm ago, and recently serviced. Full LR service history, new compressor, windscreen and fuel pump. It is in immaculate condition - particullaly inside, as it had a brick thrown through the window 12 months ago, and a $20K insurance claim that saw a whole new dashboard and front seats (covers) replaced - it looks like it just came out of the showroom inside.
A few small scratches & scuff marks in the paint, but with a good detail and polish, most of this will come out I think - no dings or dents, it is still very straight.
I am in love with this car already - I have clocked up 200Km tonight bringing it home a very long winded route, and driving in both Urban and Country environments, and it is brilliant - far better than I would have imagined on all the short test drives I have done!
Too dark to take pics tonight, and I am off first thing in the morning for the weekend with the kids, so won't get a chance to take pics until Sunday I would imagine. Will be towing a caravan back from the outlaws on Sunday with it, so I'll see what it's like with a load behind it.
Cheers - Gav![]()

Well, despite the issues I'm having, I thought I'd post some pics. These were taken on Saturday morning on the outlaws farm.
Cheers - Gav

That looks fantastic. Pity abut your current drama with it but you will overcome that and the memory will fade as you start driving aroud the place with a great big smile on the dial.![]()
Nice Rangie Gav
Has the same wheels I got.. mine were off a late model supercharged which I bought off eBay (even gave me the right wheel nuts with them)
Goes to show why people sell secondhand.. either they are sick of it or there is something wrong with it![]()
Hope you sort the gearbox soon and as grumbles says.. you will forget about the issue in no time. Such a great drivers car.
P.S. You don't want the auto door locks.. man it drives me nuts! Ive had the car 6 months and still forget to press the button to unlock!! argh
