I've ordered a diag tool last night but it is bound to take a couple of days. I'm going to be testing the pump this evening with a bypass wire in where the relay goes. Thing is, I cannot hear the pump at all and it usually makes an ever so slight hum.

    Here hoping for the best..

    Cheers

You should hear the pump working by simply jumping in it and closing the door,it should go from access height to normal height without starting the motor. You should hear the pump clearly. Pat

It has never gone from access height to normal height just by hoping in. And from memory neither did any of the 4 or 5 I test drove. You had to lift it manually or it would raise itself once at speed after the doors auto locked.

Never mind Catch -22. Maybe next time. I'll probable get an EASC myself in the near future when the updated model is available.

Was hoping for some feed back in AUS

    Catch-22
If it makes you feel better, I had the exact same problem last year – started the car and there it was. Ended up paying $50 to have codes read and cleared. It was caused by missed packets between ECUs, stupid system just shuts down when it has a communication problem on the BUS and does not retry communication!!! Cleared the fault and have not had a problem since…

Which diagnostic kit do you have coming? I can’t decide between Hawkeye and Faultmate – I figure if I’m spending coin to read faults I want to be able to read them all…

Yeah I certainly don't want this on. Wife always takes far longer to get to the car then will only complain that it wasn't low enough

Getting this one. Can read most if not all faults and reset the most common ones.
