    New owner - TDV8

Hi guys, have moved from a D4 with the lot (on sale now - see Markets section!!) to a new Vogue, bought from ULR today in Melbourne; first reg 6/2012; stunning white on black, 4.4tdv8 with some nice touches like rear e-diff, electric brakes, dealer is fitting dual battery system (Optima Yellowtop and Traxide) and I'm fitting a Icom UHF. I swapped the 20's for 19's the dealer had on another car as I've got MTR's on
A second set of rims (ex the D4). Keen to hear if I can get a front bash plate? Will also order LLAMS having had it on the D4. Very excited to get some Kay's under the wheels!

    Congratulations

    Nice car.

20 inch wheels have more tyre options than the 19's.

    Cheers

Surely 19's (ATR, MTR) are a better option in long run??? Greater sidewall strength etc.???

Mine didn't have a TDV8 badge, but I fitted one. It is nice to brag .

The car looks great, very similar to mine, but newer.

How good does that look in white!

I always thought LR white looked a bit naff, did they change the colour? Don't like the colour of my Mate's 2004 in white, or our '99 D2 for that mater, but I like the newer white.

    Stornaway

    Again beautiful car.

I had the Goodyear MTR's on my D3 & had a few problems with them.

Only Mud Terrain I have ever had a puncture with although to be fair the other mud terrains had higher sidewalls.

They are also hard to get now although I believe Goodyear have made a Duratrac in that size although it is not yet available in Australia.

You can get a 285 x 50 x 20 Cooper Zeon LTZ - this tyre has a very good reputation.

Not sure if Gordon's 18's fit on late model FFRR.

    Cheers
