Another view of the Rock Sliders
Well there all finished and tested. Work and look great.
Ended up powder coating them Satin Black and there not really noticable but very handy. Stand out a bit more now that I put some non-slip tape with a reflective strip in it. Even gives me somwhere to stand when cleaning the windscreen. All made fron 2x1 box steel, so a bit heavy but definetly solid.

Nice job
Next is full manufacturing and selling... :-)
Or a DIY induction? I'm keen to give it a crack. Where have you bolted them too
Great job guys

They bolt up to the rear of the engine subframe mount using its bolt as a front mount. The rear is using the fuel tank cover bolt hole as well as the unused bolt mount about 50mm in short of it, then locks into the jack points. As the chassis is so thin, is the reason I used the 2x1 box along its length, I preferred to sacrifice 25mm in clearance for the ability to. Slide over rocks without damage. It also provides a smooth solid surface protecting the whole sil and air tank. If I made another the only change would be to make the step come out a bit more, just to protect the doors a bit more. (in carparks as much as out bush).
Could even be done in alloy but I didn't have a welder to do that,
You should build a perfect sample to cover what you think is best and then send to get copied by a professional manufacturer for you to sell. :-)
Some more detail in the form of a sketch would be really appreciated as I'm keen for some side steps and parking protection.
