    New member from Germany: Introduction...

Dear gentlemen, my name is Uli from the town Meerbusch near Duesseldorf in Germany, drive a 13 year old RR TD6, optical 2007, silver with 225.00km on the clock. Had until today ALL problems from GM5L40E to upper steering column and air suspension. Therefore I made Range Rover L322 from hobby to my half-day-job, special for clients from GB, because there are the most L322 owners. The Picture is my work from some days before, the tilt mechanism parts... So I will read here, and if I can help, I will write in my school-english so good as possible..., best rgs, Uli

    Hi Meerbusch,

Welcome to the forum. My brother in-law is just down the road, so to speak, in Aachen. I have visited Duesseldorf several times.

    We love pictures.

    Cheers

Thanks for your greetings, Aachen is 30 minutes away. My elder daughter was until last year for one year in Gold Coast University, she told me a lot about country and cars....

    Welcome Uli.
I saw your post on FullFatRR. The steering column and air suspension problems will come up more frequently as the FFRR and D3s get older. The experience/solutions of others will be invaluable.

So, do I understand you are making replacement parts for the steering column? does that include the famous cam for the vertical tilt?

    New member from Germany: Introduction...

    Hallo Uli,

I was in Germany last year. Never made it to your city. Loved seeing Defenders in other parts...several in Berlin, Frankfurt and Munchen. I could live in Dresden...and probably Kassel...for that matter Berlin. Love Germany. My 16 year old son is going over for his second educational visit in January 2016 on a German Govt PASCH scholarship based on his German language results.

Dear new friends, thanks a lot for the welcme here in this forum, which is also good for technical support outside of the official dealers. Happy to hear that some good boys here know Germany from visit. I only work in private basis for the forum friends, special here in my region. And my special are the steering columns until 2009, the airsuspensions and the steering lock in the column. If questions, you can always ask. Will drive my 2002 TD6 some years, until the new shape costs more less.... ;-)) my is silver with optic 2006 (also 19 alloy wheels from TDV8), red White rearlights, white flushers at the side and the three-part-wing-plastic. New gearbox of course, and new differential on guarentee. Best regards from Germany, Uli
