RWS ALL COMMS wont read the beCME
Just brought a MK3 ALLCOMMS and connected it to the rover L322 to see if I could reset the air suspension but it wont read the the EAS unit. The problem started when the air bags went down and the battery went flat. I replaced the battery with a new one and put it on the charger when testing. So I checked to see if it would read / connect to the body control unit and that was a no go as well. Seems to read/connect to some of the computer units but not others. The ones that wont connect are the BeCME, the EAS and the ABS. it keeps coming up with and Can fault. It seem half the module work the other half don’t. I’ve replaced the EAS with another one (second hand ), to see if it that was the problem and reset the steering angle sensor and that seems to work but I’m at a loss at the moment as to whats wrong with the system. The engine runs but comes up with a few errors and can drive it but its on the bump stops. It was all working but once the battery went flat the suspension went down and now nothing works. Would anyone have an idea of where to start. Could it be the body control unit ????
If I am ever on life support
unplug me.....
Then plug me back in see if that works !!!!!
