I bought mine from the pictures although I discovered that the dealer wasn't going to hold me to the purchase until I inspected it.

    Thoughts?

    Thoughts on this one?

    You have been blocked

I’m wavering between this and a 2014 Discovery SDV6 HSE.

Anyone got an opinion either way?

I have one the same, you will love the engine and transmission. The main things I would do ASAP at those km are transmission service, and ALL drivetrain oils. I would suggest they most likely have not been changed. Also, be aware that the coolant leaks from the oil cooler seals are reasonably common, and thankfully way cheaper than the 3.0v6 to repair😊😊. I have just replaced my Alternator at 156k, wasn't fun. Overall it is a magnificent vehicle, I'm very happy with it.

Possible poor service history at those km is a recipe for new turbochargers....

    RE: Cheap L322 TDV8's

There are a couple in the online "repossession" lists at present (Graysonline), with an 2008 225,000k's at $12,200 (plus buyer 7% surcharge) and a 2011 4.4TDV8 278,000k at $25,000 (plus 7% surcharge costs).
Reading into the service book for the 2011 looks like it has been doing a lot of regular k's recent years.
Often these cars are there for a reason and not actually "repossessed". IE: somethinmg amiss with a major component, so buyer beware.
