Getting close, NT. Mine just arrived at Fremantle North, and is expected at Pt. Kembla on the 22nd.
So I'm still looking at early Dec.
Getting tired of riding the motorbike to work. It's getting too hot Finally joining the Discovery Club - hopefully!

It was the only one in the country with the options I wanted, so white it is. I probably would have chosen white anyway, since Firenze Red is no longer an option.

I have just stripped off the last things on the Jeep ready to hand it over on Wednesday.

I find the colour choices available interesting:

    2 x White
    2 x Black
    4 x Grey
2 x Blue - one of which looks pretty grey to me
    1 x Orange

Eight neutrals and three colours. And that is actually a pretty big range these days!

Despite tests carried out by some motoring bodies to the contrary, white should be the only choice in this country. Went from a '95 Carrigada Green D1 to a Metallic White Mazda & I know which one I prefer.

Plus, the air cond. is far superior.

Also when you finally leave her in the dealer's car park please remember to do the honorable thing & make a point of walking back to say a proper goodbye & thank her for the good times..

I didn't, & feel quite guilty to this day seeing her standing there all alone as we drove off.

Cars have feelings as well, you know.

I really don't understand the black roof they have available. Whay do that to a white car? Also, the black glass of the sunroof...

The tests of interior temperatures of different coloured cars on sunny days done by motoring bodies was interesting, too.

The roof on that red one next to yours looks appalling. Just doesn't do a thing & looks crap. I guess there isn't a lot they can do with the Black glass as that would be part of the UV Filtering I should think. (?????)

What is the alternative, hold a sun Brolly over the glass as you drive along at 120 k.?

Anyway, enjoy yours & 'Happy Trails'.

Some love the look. I'm with you. Our i30 has a glass roof, and it is very hot on sunny days.

    Finally Official!

Well, I picked it up today - and drove straight to the tyre place to swap the original tyres over to 275/55R20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's. They traded in the originals which saved me $500.

Now I just have to start figuring out where to put everything. My phone charger/antenna connection cradle is proving a problem already... The windscreen slopes too much!

I didn't get to keep the bow but I did find, in the boot, the tow hitch - with packing shims, but unfortunately, too low for the Crossover XL - and a coffee maker with milk frother, a Land Rover baseball cap and a golf umbrella. A pleasant surprise! They had also swapped the carpet mats over to rubber ones for me!

    Cheers
