Went to MtBuller recently. Velar would look good there. Mountain bikes on the roof or a towbar thingy.

Yeah, but what do you want me to do? You can join the fb if interested.

I guess i could search for it elsewhere on the net, but im not sure if i will find it, and you could search yourself if interested or wanting to work as a team member.

    Interesting.

I sat in a disco sport briefly and it seemed very comfortable and bigger inside than outside.

Well there is no point is posting something that many/most people on here cannot read - as indicated by the early posts about link broken/ cannot read etc.

Anyway LR has to move with the times and produce products that appeal to the widest range of customers. If it stayed with the old RRC and Series style of vehicles it would have been dead years ago. More people are interested in LR as town cars than offroaders and LR needs to address this - the Freelander was the best selling LR and the best selling 4wd in Europe in the late 90s early 2000s - in Aust about 10 years ago the RRS was outselling the D3 so I think LR has their product mix for the SUV/Offroad market but it is missing out on the sedan market so I would expect to see some Jaguars being rebadged and restyled as Landrovers in the future - just as they did with the Velar.

If you dont like the direction LR (remember the company is actually Jaguar Land Rover) is taking then well .............

You need to get over your ex Verny. No-one else can do that for you.

We have a new DS (traded the Evoque) and are very happy - its a Tardis - heaps of rear legroom and the back seats recline - beautiful! - we've got the 5 seater so have a full sized spare.

180 Diesel engine is very quiet and the 9 speed box is fantastic - just remember it's 'gear hunt' not 'turbo lag' - easy on the throttle!

Also, the media system now plays folders from a USB - at long last we can have a big USB with all our music in folders - bliss!

Test drove the Velar before we settled on the DS - we came away feeling that the Velar is just a bigger, swankier Evoque - aimed at city 'suits' and WAGS.
