When you compare LR old front interiors to the new leaked interior dash and seat shot, if its similar to final production version in basic layout, it looks like they have used the older LR's for inspiration over the newer ones.

Infact the one its closest to is the oldest imo in terms of layout, of course with modern tech added.

IME, when they get to ten years of age, they start shedding $1000 parts once a month. They have the designs well set to safely make it through warranty without lasting too long.

Those pilot build vehicles will be worth a lot of money one day. I hope they save them.

Didn't do much good for the D1.5, it still fell to bits over time.

ie. Top Dash Panel, Inner roof lining. Both bad choices of adhesives it seems. "Built for Australian conditions", my arse. [bighmmm]


Btw. My arse has stood the test of time for much longer than my olde worlde D1.[smilebigeye]

So has anyone heard of a pilot build new Defender running around in Oz?
