Anti roll bars restrict articulation, I don't care how you set it up!
    That's how they work!

They'd said that it would be tougher than the Discovery, so it doesn't surprise me that they'd add subframes to the monocoque chassis. That's how Pajero does it.

I think D5,latest RRS & RRVogue have subframes, maybe some earlier models also.

Imo in the same way body lifts are the best way to gain clearance for bigger tyres, same system should be used on the subrames on all possible vehicles with subframes to gain clearance.

There is a fair bit to engineer, but once the kit is done its done.

I used to think the same Won’t be retro...

All the guys at tuff truck and ultra 4 racers would beg to differ.

If set up right they can be left on and don't restrict articulation offroad, help stability offroad and onroad.

Front suspension seen for the first time, rear retractable towbar, HD recovery point, 90 offroad, rear closeup showing camo depth (rear door hinges most likely under), rear camera (possible wash nozzle next to it?), Hybrid brakes larger, diesel brakes smaller.

Spotted on Fins & Things trail and top of potato salad

Thanks for sharing. Not sure about how it will look when the camo comes off but getting excited anyway. Wife is keen to get a Range Rover or a Discovery next year year. Trying to sow the seeds a new Defender would be the go!

If the retractable tow bar is electric i hope it has a handy hole where you can send a socket down to a mechanical override. Good idea providing that the mechanical option is handy and a standard ball retracts with the tongue. Cheers

It will still reduce articulation, it just depends on the rate of the bar how much it reduces.
The stiffer they are, the more it restricts regardless of how well you setup the linkages.

I agree with that Superior link that a well setup bar can make the vehicle behave better off road, the chassis can be much more stable, but ultimate wheel travel will be reduced.

Yeah it seems there are differing opinions with sways.

All the best builds we see these days are running sways on/off.

Must be some merit to it?
