That Lightweight makes the LR2020 look HUGE .
Everyone thinks the Iveco Daily 4x4 is big but compare relative sizes , here is my Lightweight & Iveco on a similar Angle in comparison the Iveco is small. The Iveco has 37" tyres & 132" wheelbase.

Maybe it’s the camo
Maybe it’s my eyes
I guess when I look at those pics GB it makes the LR2020 look out of proportion
Very long (sitting low obviously on springs) but you can see it’s road oriented bias on 32” compared with the Daily on 37” rubber?
Who knows
They really need to lose some of the useless camo
It just looks like an ugly POS at the moment!
Hard to generate actual interest with drip fed marketing rubbish
I have a feeling in 10 years time this vehicle release will be part of the Marketing 101 syllabus on marketing fail. Too much cloak and dagger buildup rubbish - too little delivery.
No different to Instagram influencers a few years ago.
Despite some people raving about how SM influencing was the way of the future, sales reality shows it is largely rubbish and builds expectation that doesn’t convert.

So its long or short
Air susp drops low when parked, even lower when accessing, who says on coils.
Profile of tyres are also reasonable however the tyres themselves are not aggressive muddies.
The daily most likely needs 37s, defender looks like it may only needs 32s based on reactions of public at moab.
They have already shown 2 other cars with far less camo to the point where most of the car can be pictured. Put Tusk and invicus together (minus the 3 fake lines down the side)+ the bullbar winch shot and multiple roof choices and you can get a pretty clear picture of the car.
If you fully show the car before Amsterdam, what will there be to "show" at the show.
Just about everyone knows what they are going to see at a car show, thats why they go....not for a surprise.
I went to the recent 4x4 show, knowing exactly what to expect.....I looked at the shows menu , even to where I should look in the pavilion.
Of course you want to know all the cars featured so you can then go and see what it is you wanted to see.
I dunno BR it just looks funny and out of proportion. Not once in camo has itbgrabbed me and said give me $100k
Have shown pics to lots of non landy people.
NO ONE has said that looks good?
Now take the camo off and maybe it will have some aesthetic
Who knows?
I think the sitting low (I said springs not coils - air springs are still springs) does it no favours
And the overall appearance seems to lack air underneath it to scream off-roader to me?
Anyways - I think it’s stupid to build up some big Amsterdam reveal
It is just asking to get panned
I’m sure everyone on the team are one eyed like you mate,
The world will judge this thing and they don’t have to like it just because you do.
A more open reveal, highlighting the good points is likely to be more effective than the emperor and his clothes ?

Imo they are trolling the die hards and will continue to do so until reveal.
All the, its a d4, another blob, same as every other jlr car, nothing special etc etc.
In reality they know that even if they showed it with all the good stuff straight away they would not like it.
At first they showed it as a Range Rover Sport then a camod as a D4, now it is being slowly revealed has something completely unique.
There are multiple comments on this thread already of people showing their wives and getting the thumbs up.
When you show your not Land Rover friends are you explaining to them as a mix of Tusk and Invictus with the bull bar and a winch added minus the 3 lines down the side etc etc, if you are not then even Land Rover fans would agree its nothing special.
In my opinion it's going to stand out massively on the road and Land Rover will make it desirable so I don't see a problem with the looks, sofar the function looks on Point also. I think they will also have a few tricks up their sleeves will be interesting to see full reveal at the show.
Anyone going to be in Amsterdam at that time?
