What is interesting about Defender is that it influenced other purchases. So it's the legend of the rugged Defender that influences a lot of people to purchase the softer LR products.

So provided the new Defender is genuinely tough and able compared to say G Wag' and 200 Series then it will sell well (price permitting) and will keep the 'legend ' alive for others in the LR stable.

If LR hit Camel style challenges again it would help sell the new Defender.

    Cheers

They've had to do best a lot of money in the MLA platform, hybrids and the Defender family, but they will expect to get it back many times over in coming years.
Australia is a minor market for JLR. Their big targets are China, the USA and Europe.

Aha, I am seeing the connection here, Stilettos & Oils. Hhhhmmmmm, wouldn't the Brush bar get in the way?

    Hmmm

    It just shrunk again!
A lightweight is not exactly a huge vehicle
The LR2020 is in front so geometrically magnified and it isn’t exactly dwarfing the LightWeight?

    I want some actual specifications!

'95 130 dual cab fender (gone to a better universe)
'10 130 dual cab fender (getting to know it's neurons)

This is new, guessing it has something to do with camera or radar thing on roof?

Maybe its security to ensure nobody breaks in or gets to close and thats a warning sign?

Was seen on the maccas spy shot too, same rego

Length: Wheelbase 110, tire size 32inch, you can get pretty close to length from that.

Width: im guessing a little wider than d5

Height: Maybe a little higher than a D5

I think the photo was concocted, there appears to be some lighter coloured artefacts/outlining around the wheels and underneath of both vehicles.

As to the thing on top, maybe testing some autonomous kit, or maybe just an indicator for when the driver wants an ice-cream.

Disco 4 is 114" wheelbase. Judging by the door length it will be that or longer. They would be mad to go shorter wheelbase than at least 114". Defender (@110") and D2 (@100") are way too cramped in first and second row legroom.
