The actual comparison may be making a stretch, but the outcry was pretty much the same! "Everyone" knew that serious four wheel drives needed to have leaf springs, and full time four wheel drive was equally certainly for softroaders!Quote:

Nice work. I still can't see what would have been so hard about running that bonnet shutline back diagonally from the inside edges of the headlights to the outer corners of the base of the windscreen, with the whole bonnet standing slightly proud of the wingtops. That and a deeper grille and the whole thing would look more like a Defender. It makes me think that Gerry McGovern is just trolling us.Quote:
