And I remember when Toyota Land Cruiser owners were running around spending money modifying their new, permanent 4WD 80 series LCs back to part-time 4WD because .... why? Oh, that's right it was going to lead to accelerated wear etc. And it made the steering heavier. And you didn't have to hop in and out of the car and fiddle with the hubs when you wanted actual 4WD. That'd be the same system that's happily run on the 80 series, 100 series and 200 series for the last 19 years.
This whole lower section looks like it has the potential for a bullbar of somekind, same at the rear. I like the factory 1 seen on pilots, but open if someone like Rhino or AFN makes a better one with some brush bars etc.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7323a6c67a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...83e1f12935.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2f995c0573.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f797a72db3.jpg
That's not a bullbar its a nudge bar and anything bigger than a rabbit will destroy that POS.
It makes me think that Gerry McGovern is just trolling us.

Agree its no cow stopper but looks like 50mm tubing with engineered strengthening (smaller tubing) my rear bar is 50mm tubing and you can lean the weight of the car on it and land on it without deformation, tubing is very strong, especially if braced. Imo this design was chosen due to "bullbars" being banned in some Euro countries due to pedestrian impact. They have probable made the most aggressive possible bar that can be purchased in all markets.
I would 100% run that until something better came allong
My RRC runs a front tube bar, I have wanted to mod it with the light surrounds just like this.
The vast majority here are not interested in what is appropriate on European roads they are only interested in protecting their 4WD when outside the city limits and that bar may as well be painted on because it would be totally useless on Australian roads.
Or maybe ARB,TJM and other reputable bullbar makers have it all wrong and should start making pipe bars[bigwhistle]
