For sure Chook. It's a modern wide Disco1 - 2 inch longer wheelbase and pretty much the same length (about 15 inches shorter than a D2). It is not a small vehicle and should hit the spot for quite a lot of people.

Hey guys,
Been colabing with a photoshop guy to get the tubebar, bonnet, checker, winch, fairlead, badge, snorkel, muddies etc added on, after about 20 revisions over almost a week here it is.
Im not 100 % happy with bulge being so sharp and a few other little things, but it gives us an idea.
This is a preproduction leak so we still dont know if all the details will be in final release.
Maybe others can play with the colours see what looks like black or dark green or other colours or improve this further?

Could be just me - but the "90" in the Goodwood clip is going at a nice old rate.. [thumbsupbig]
Interesting: From another forum:
“Team Defender” is organised by Emil Frey, our Swiss importers who in recent years have done very nice (sometimes spectacular, like the August 2015 Defender farewell party) Series/Defender events on their own initiative without much, if any, involvement of Solihull. With the new Defender only months away Emil Frey now are putting together a group of Swiss Series/Defender owners, called Team Defender. Apart from sharing our brief stories on the official Land Rover Switzerland website it seems Team Defender will get an early preview of the new truck. Will see how that all will work out. Below a direct link to the Team Defender web page.

Well that’s the challenge for you BR... Get LRA involves and give AULRO members a presentation... I would turn up for it. [emoji1303][emoji3]
It'll be interesting when the new 'Defender' is released to see how much of this thread is even close to what finally appears.
I'm not in their target market partly because of Land Rover service costs and partly because nothing appeals to me in their current range (most of my driving is on tarmac).
I'll keep my 'Defender Classic' and Series vehicles for 4-wheel driving and a more affordable vehicle (purchase price & servicing costs) as a daily driver.
Hopefully the new 'Defender' will appeal to the buying public and justify all the hype.
Colin
Come on fellas, leave it be.
It's not that big a deal. Let's get back to some more bull****ting about this new Defender shall we?
