Who was talking about the D5 being versatile, My argument was the old Defender WAS versatile.

OK if the NEW Defender can do this I'll shut up.

They probably haven’t forgotten what happened when the D3 was released,LR arranged a few to do a run in East Africa.

Everyone of them stopped after water crossings.

I have a mate who was with the group.

Yes he is an LR tragic, still lives in Tanzania.

Indeed. No resting on any laurels there and the only thing retro about it are the fibreglass looking bubble backs, which I’m sure are not the final product given the svelte design of Rivian overall.

Theyre clearly leading the EV SUV pack. ...c’mon Defender!

What have Rivian gone and done there, patented tray back accesories?

Rivian have not done anything but talk the talk. Those are just forum renders. Bit like defender speculation on design.

    Good chance Rivian will flop

Looks like a good idea, its already been shown the defender will be avail in multiple body styles, and in more practical types then just a few different tray designs..good on em for thinking out side of the box though.

It's a fact. I've seen it reported some time ago.
    Cheers,
