Others actions should not be the the deciding factor as to when we show respect to others.

Rules don't say, "only show respect to other users if you agree with them"

Then there is also common decency.

People being disrespectful in jokes or for real is not disagreeing.

I don't mind what people agree with or don't, i just put up what i think are facts, people can think what they want to think.

Mate Zero, take a chill this is a forum, we are talking about the new defender, its life or death or a competition. To my knowledge i haven't called you a troll, I try very hard to not return rudeness or disrespect when I'm on the receiving end.

In your last post to me it felt like you were sugercoating disrespect and rudeness under the guise of humour (this is also against forum rules) You can take that feedback onboard if you like or not, that's just how I felt.

In this post I feel like you change it up to be more direct, which is pretty much a directed personal attack(also against forum rules).

Zero your comments regarding my "position" on this thread are really quite astounding, its an internet forum, last thing i want in life is to climb the ladder on a forum .

If others would like to collect all JLR on record quotes, post links to articles, factually analyse information we have against photos and comments, no problems, it is warmly welcomed, it would make life much easier for the ones the put effort in for no gain other than to help other members that are as genuinely exited as they are.

On the other hand there just a small few that never post up any info rather sit back and with a nearly 100% strike rate, are unnecessarily negative or provacative about what is posted.Why? Are they afraid that the new defender could possibly be better than a vehicle that they think is number 1? Opinions are opinions and that's fine as long as they are balanced, factual and respectful

If these ones have a legitimate problem with anything posted, respectfully say so remembering the selfless effort it takes to put it up in the first place. It also takes effort to be respectfull, on the other hand if they are never adding any positive value, always being provocative and rarely positive or respectfull, this is infact the very definition of trolling.

Just like when people make baseless comments about newer LRs or the old defenders being rubbish, others will show the facts that prove otherwise.

If people disregard forum rules, they will be called out. The rules are designed to avoid the need for timewasting posts like these. If you think that makes the people that do those things an arbitrator, no worries. However from what i have seen most of the work to combat this is done behind the scenes by the mods. The more respectful we are to eachother the less work the mods have to do, everyone's happy.

Toyotas are great in their own way, Landrovers are great in their own way, shall we move on to the new defender, which is what we are here for.

Note to self: Contact JLR for the latest marketing info to drop here, and Rivian and Grenadier, stoked to be working for all 3

Yeah looks like they are going to get a straight 6 petrol and diesel too.

Apparently they have a mule out somewhere.

Its very hard to build a 4x4 from scratch, let alone sell and support it around the world, Will be very interesting to see what he comes up with.
