Every vehicle I ever got rid of was because of boredom or something shiny caught my eye!
Yep salted roads are not kind to them. Cheers
Well the construction of a phone wouldn't include against dropping it down the bog. Or would it, these days?FYI : my smartphone has been replaced almost every year. Sometimes I loose it. But most times it just breaks. They are certainly not built to last.
There was a bloke on another UK Forum I used to visit who did the same as you ie. replaced it every year, & the excuses & unbelievable circumstances that caused the loss were just that, unbelievable. You couldn't make up some of the reasons they buggered up, but he was a real clumsy bastid if you get my drift?
The usual basic causes were eg. dropped from cherry pickers, burnt, driven over & crushed etc etc etc.
Btw, are you a reincarnation of Daz? In the end I believe he bought a yellow Tough Tradie Industrial HD type of phone that had been Nuke Tested.![]()
Just sayin'.![]()
Doubt it
Ways they have died: Smashed screen, pushed into a pool (waterproof from now on), broken charge port, nicked, hardware fault outside of warranty , bricked, barely holds charge / battery fade.
To be honest some could have been repaired, but a new flagship phone is released every year - just in time
It will be interesting to see how many OTA software updates the Pretender gets over its life time. Tesla keep pushing new features to their cars, would be great if Land Rover do the same.
Bloody hell, you are Daz.
I wonder if CODAN made a mobile phone, how rugged that would be?
If you haven't got one of these, and your phone ain't broken - break it now.
