I recon you got no hope, but let us know once the new vehicle arrives in your driveway

For the record I had 35 bags of premix in the van, with all the crap that’s in the shelves that run down each side, and it still wasn’t on it’s bump stops.

Hardest part was carting them down the side of the house to where they were needed, our block has quite a slope.

I'd be one of the first to say the same, but you reach a point of diminishing returns.

We travel pretty lightly and there would be very little we could do to reduce the amount of space we need - I'm always looking at what we take and trying to reduce it. While we don't fill the back of the 110, we did pretty much fill the back of the D4.

200mm less than a D4 is a lot of space to lose, that's like going back to a D1. I like the proportions of the 110, but to me this makes it an impractical choice for a touring vehicle. So it looks like we will need to wait for the 130, but how much more expensive will that be?

    Cheers,
    Jon

    Exactly.

The difference between the D1 and D2 loadspace was 150mm,and they all said that was a huge amount of extra room, which it was.I had a D2,and one of my brothers had a D1,so easy to compare.

The D2 also had good height, which was handy with a cargo barrier.

I’ve had 15 x 20kg bags of concrete in the D4 with room to spare (stacked 3x5 across the back edge of the load space so everything in front of it was empty.
Recycled chook food bags. Weight isn't an issue - goat poo is light.

I hear you. I went from a 110 to a D1, and now also have a D3. The differences in load space and how or what you can carry is interesting between the three, LxWxH.

Paul, you should have bought a Chinook rather than a Van. Job done.

I've just posted the USofA PDF for ordering on this thread. Please use this area now the new Defender has been released.

The PDF is an interesting and useful read that shows lots of stuff I have not found on any of the configurators and, for me at least, plenty of useful stuff around options etc. Hope it helps
