Dennis, what about letting that paint get properly hard for about 2-4 weeks and then polish the marks out?
Cheers Charlie
G'day All,
Yes Diana, it is 'Sawmill' as it is known, but it will have a new identity as soon as I can contact a chap in Victoria who was a serving member of the Australian Army Provost Corp, he took the picture in downtown Saigon around 1967 I think, they might have had a name for it, even though it didn't appear to have a name in any of the 3 pix that I have of it in Sth Vietnam, but I know for certain that it won't be retaining the name 'Sawmill', cheers Dennis
ps I have been outside prepping the panels for another go tomorrow morning, this time I will move the Land Rover out of the way, and set everything up under cover,,.![]()

G'day All,
Mrs H, my paint is from a computer programme?, it puts all the ingredients in the can in the correct amounts, or so they say!!, there was absolutely no good areas of DBG on 113-372, and any areas that had DBG were faded to the point they looked like drab DBG
.
Photobucket was not playing the game (either that or my PC) and I couldn't put yesterdays efforts up, here are the drip rails and center hoop
hanging on the clothes line, well thats what it's for isnt it!!
today I would like to paint the topside of the bonnet, and the underside of the tailgate, well thats the game plan, the weather is supposed to change either Sat or Sunday, back to work Mondaycheeers Dennis

G'day All,
This morning weather wise was cool n crisp for this time of the year, but none the less I have to continue as my time off work (at my expense) comes to an end very soon.
I moved the 2 wings out of the way, only to discover that the outer cut wing on the rhs has a few runs on it, that will have to wait for later,,.
I did however manage to paint the bonnet n tailgate
the other item
anyway more smaller jobs to be attended as the day rolls on, cheers Dennis![]()
This is the 3rd attempt, **&^% useless internet
anyway I might have to repaint the bonnet, as my wife tells me I have missed an area approx 20" square.
I did manage to paint
the hoop set, you need more arms than a Octopus, anyway cheers Dennis
ps forgot to mention that I have a colour vision defect as well!!,,.![]()
