I seem to remember some mob selling a replacement rear crossmember in both civvy and military makes, but i cant seem to find it again.
The other problem is in VIC the penalty for getting busted with a non certified chassis repair is a tad on the steep side, so i figured if they were hear i may as well have that grafted on the ass end instead of a patch and plate
It will need a strip to bare bones anyway

4 Wheel drives in Blackburn keep the civvy rear crossmembers.
If you advertise in the wanted section of the forum you might get someone who has a chassis to sell or one that's damaged and the crossmember can be cut off.
Nobody seems to want a s/h chassis, I tried for a long time to get rid of a Series 1 chassis on the forum and also a galvanised SIII SWB chassis. If you are willing to collect there will be someone who can help.
I know someone with a Series III FFR chassis, he keeps telling me to collect it but it will cost a trailer hire.......
