I don't know enough about bikes to really comment (cars are my go!), I don't even watch many of the bike races, but I did REALLY enjoy this one,..don't see how anyone couldn't, SO CLOSE, right from the start.
The leaning "angles" of these riders is, to me, unbelieveable, I keep thinking they're gonna slide over! The tyres must be really special, just can't understand how they can still grip on those angles!!

I've been riding(raced for 15/20yrs) bikes since I was 13(now 60) and even I'm amazed at the angles the're at now, I remember years ago when they released the VF750 Honda(1982) it had a possible lean angle of 49deg, Honda reckoned that was the limit of angle any bike could go.

Now they can get to 62deg, that is amazing

All good, I go back to the days to when the Triumph Bonneville (2 X Amals, 44bhp!) was King, Marlon Brando on his Triumph in "The Wild One" etc, but I've never owned a bike, so don't know much about them.
A friend of mine did own a Vincent, in the sixties, a chap called John Hartnett, don't know what model it was, but it was IMMACULATE, always covered, I think it had some sort of fairing on it, can't remember the details, just that it was beautiful.

If you were going to watch just one Moto GP race this year, Phillip Island was the one to watch!
Worse thing about that race is I owe my mate a bottle - he was going for Honda - I for Yamaha. I was yelling at the tele for a lot of it.
    Close racing, and great passing.

Down to 11 points and 2 races left.

Talking about the lean angles - Mick Doohan use to wear the side of his boots out, now they are putting sliders on the riders elbows.

And the real Rossi finally appears

Rossi: ?Marquez would prefer Lorenzo to win?

What a giant douche. Marquez isn't evil Rossi you ****. He's just more up and down than a yo yo. Using your profile to try and suggest Marquez is being underhanded and trying to carry out a personal vendetta is beyond a joke. I so hope Lorenzo wins! Wait, does that make me evil too because I don't want you to win princess?

Marquez might have been upset about Assen because you were an aggressive *****. That's it. Nothing more. I'm sure he's over it by the way.

Having raced myself, I think Rossi should know better, everyone is out there to win and to win no matter what, whether it's GP or club style racing, when I was racing, as long as you weren't being lapped, it was game on, whether you were fighting for 1st or 10th
I seem to remember him getting in the way of riders fighting for the title when he had no chance, sponcers play a big part in racing(any sport) please the sponsers and you get more money and benifits.

Also if you use his theroy Innoni is playing this game also, I think Rossi needs to give himself a few uppercuts, because if that's what it takes to win the title, then that's what it takes, he just lucky Pedrosa was off his game, otherwise he would have been up there fighting for the win, next round is Malaysia, Pedrosa usually does well there, as does Marquez and Lorenzo, so pull your head in and look out Rossi.
    Cheers Baz.

I just lost all respect for Rossi! I was hoping for him to win his 10th championship - which is a great achievement - now I hope Lorenzo takes it.

3 penalty points for Rossi, which means he starts from the back of the grid in Valencia. Not quite enough of a penalty for such a move.

One of the worst displays of sportsmanship in memory. Words off the the track is one thing but that was too far.

It sucks for Pedrosa. He ran a great race but that won't be remembered. He has the worst luck.
