My daily commuter is an 03 SV650s - done over 55000k's since new (had 6k's when I picked it up from the dealer). Had an 02 SV650s before that from new, did over 32000k's when traded in on the 03.
My learner bike was a Honda NSR250 - 2-stroke import. Very interesting when learning to ride....hitting the power band in the wet....

I've also played around with Mazda rotories - just love em. Good fun and great power for what they are. Last one was a series 4 rx7 (porche shape) with a 13B turbo...had some wiring issues due to age and ended up wiring in a microtech computer. Worked ok, but couldn't find anyone who new enough to tune it for the street. Nothing beats the factory computing in anything.....the R&D has been done.

Hoping to go on a 4x4 day either Sat or Sun. I think the GCLRO club is going to beerwah.....if a newby can tag along.

I love bikes but don't have one at the moment . My last bike was a YZ426 and that was fantastic . I have also owned a KLX250 99', GPX250 94', CR250 95' and a ZX9R 98'. all great bikes in the right spot and had a heap of fun with the lot of them . Later on i would love ( dream ) a Suzuki TL1000R . Awesome V-Twin power and go like the clappers .

Excellent stuff!!! I currenly have a 2005 CBR1000RR Repsol Replica and absolutely love it. It's my pride and joy. The only mods it has are a Megacycle muffler and tinted buble screen. I had all the bodywork clear coated to protect the stickers. Looking to do more when the funds permit. I also have an 2002 XR650R which I also love. Great bike also although a tad in the heavy side, but then again so am I. Have previously had a 1985 RZ250R, 1985 GSX-R750R, 1997 CBR900RR and XR500RD. Love the riding on the road, but think these days I prefer riding in the bush. Bikes are awesome and I will never not have one. Would love to have a collection of them, but that's just a dream. There's just never enough money to spend on all the toys at once. In the process of saving for mods for the Disco. Love the Land Rovers as well.

    Cheers

Andrew in the hills above Robertstown in 24 hr trial.jpg
Riding my current race bike Yamaha WRF250 in the South Australian 24hr trial. A yearly event held in July of each year. It is an endurance event held over 24hrs
Starts on Saturday and if you finish your ride for 4 laps of around 250km /lap all through the night and finish 24hrs later. This year will be my 13th start and have finished 10. Very hard yakka believe me
