The unfortunate thing about that is,it isn't a Heritage. It is a 100th anniversary RoadKing.Which means that it is on a Dyna chassis and not a softail chassis like a Heritage. This picture has been around for a few years now.I have seen the video footage, and the lowside was caused by the rider taking his left hand off the bars and the left footboard touching the road and causing the rider to lose control of the bike. And yes,he did pick it up and ride away, albeit with a bit less skin and flesh.

And riding a Harley is a bit like owning a LandRover,it is only when you have ridden/driven it,that you can appreciate it !!!!

as in the ones I've owned ?

Well let's see there was a Honda...

    oh right, good point.

I have ridden a pile of non jappers too and for that (and various other) reasons I love the Ducatis and Guzzis best.

Although... the best sound of a bike EVER was the reverberation when my neighbour cranked up his Bonneville which he used to park in my garage. The house was on a suspended slab and the vibrations came up through the floor.

Now I'm one of those..**** whipped sorry sons of guns who haven;t got a bike but have a wife instead... and often wondering how that happened !
