I know where you're coming from, Mick. [bigsad]

I was just about to laugh at your suggestion the a JGS was worth that money. No, have a look on evilbay first I thought and there is one on there (a dealer admittedly) at nearly 90K.
bloody 302 auto with fancy stripes. I never thought I would see the day
That would be the Land Rover?
Like everyone, with there shouldn't have sold, mine was the HSV Vs '96 Clubby.Manual, leather option, had all the original receipts, nice car.
Completely original.I bought it one year old.Had it for a good few years.A guy flew up from Melbourne and bought it.
My local mechanic has two of the last Ford 351 hardtops. He has refurbished both and they are in original condition, even the wheels are original.
You need to get out more.
Next Feb., come for a visit to the Hanging Rock car show. I'm sure Tom, Gav and I will be there, having a picnic. Stay a while as the All Ford Day will probably be the next weekend in Geelong. That is a great day. Quite a few John Goss Specials were there last year.
Oh, bring a cheque book. We'll find you a XA GT RPO83. The sedans are fetching $100k unrestored to almost $200k (rare colour in excellent condition). We might find you a coupe for under $250k.
None of my Landrovers could be considered to be family sedans.
In my opinion, the VR/VS Commodores were the best Commodores made (if you exclude those that had that horrible V6). I still like the Commodores, even the latest Australian assembled Chinese one (except that horrible VE model).
I'd love to get a VS Senator. I found one I wanted to buy. The seller didn't reply to my text messages with anything understandable (very poor english/comprehension skills) so I thought it may have been a scam.
I'm looking around for a turbo Territory now. Found a perfect one at Christmas but was too slow.
$200k - seriously?
Turbo Territory is good, but the ultimate Territory is the FPV item with 275KW,...some say it was over the top, but a super rare Territory all the same, lovely seats, and whilst 275KW mightn't be the be all & end all off road, on the black stuff I reckon it'd be OK.
Pickles.
Yeah. I looked at one of them. Test drove it. It went well.
I was told they wanted $15k for it. When we started talking price, that shot up to $30k. And the interior was ghastly.
The one I was looking at at Christmas was $11k, lower km, in better condition and looked much nicer. I'll be using it as a dd, not to add to my collection, so it will be getting a hard life. It would be sad to see a FPV get driven into the ground.
