Bugger I hate seeing my old posts pop up a year plus later with nothing finished... I guess that warranty on the winch must be down a year or so by now.

Stuff it, pulling the bumper tomorrow and getting that thing started!

Went and had a look at a V8 County to perhaps buy today. Not like I really should be getting into another project though hey?

I am still very interested in this. I want a front mount for my winch and tray. If anyone has one to sell, or is planning a batch, please let me know the price.

Oops! Bought the County instead of pulling the bumper. Will push it forward again this weekend.

    Hi guys,
I'm about to start similar project am just waiting on bullbar to arrive so I can sort all details out but am looking to set up removable winch initially for front / rear mount and possibly later to be side mounted also from future rock sliders maybe. Was thinking along lines of anderson plug connections unless anyone can advise if they may not be suitable(ideal) if anyone can comment on this approach would welcome all views.

I'm only talking about a lowly D2a, but have had a front hitch installed (built into my ARB deluxe bar) and will be using I think about 300A Anderson plugs for front and rear winch/detachable cradle connections. There are larger plugs available, but I'm assured not necessary

I get jealous when I hear about all you guys getting together to fix stuff. You are all clever enough to choose and buy P38s, how come you aren't clever enough to move to the best city in the world, where it doesn't rain every day (let alone snow)...

Hi Junosi, the one thing I cant see from this is how the new receiver bar is mounted to the chassis. Did you drill new holes in the chassis, or utilise some existing ones? Thanks!
