Woohoo, count me in for a snorkel! I wonder if a group buy would save on shipping enough to warrant gst being charged?

Just looking at the photo of the travel ramp. You've got atb diffs front and rear in that don't you? As the rear wheel is off the ground it gives an idea of how effective atb diffs and etc are.

I for one am enjoying the build up. Have you any data on intake temps or fuel economy with the snorkel?

+1 for the snorkel, please post a link for purchase with shipping to Australia as I want it asap.

I'd quite like a tank guard too but I'd prefer a higher capacity tank with its own protection, is anything available or in the pipeline?

I think Ron had one on his p38. But it did hang down a bit lower than the standard one.

A definite yes on the Snorkel from me, as long as cost is reasonable

Sucked up a fair bit of muddy water last weekend, fortunately didn't get through to the inlet manifold!

Group buy and shipping could cause customs and import tax issues but perhaps localised group purchase may work as long as value stays below $1k. So figure we could get 5 in a box

    +1 here for Melbourne

A mate of mine picked one up for his Pootrol for $100 brand new from a shop. Looks like good quality too... But they're a little more common so wouldn't expect ours to be quite that low.... Looking at the prices of the other snorkels Lucky8 sell, I'm thinking it will be more than 5x that unfortunately by the time its landed in Oz... But there's still hope.

I think shipping will be more then the plate.

We are using the Terrafirma Prosports in the front and the rear.

We only have an ATB in the rear.

Poser pic from last years Rovers on the Rocks

That fuel tank guard looks very similar to my version.
